La Vernia Primary is proud to have added several new gardens for children to take care of this year. Iris Seale, Master Gardener and LV Primary volunteer, recruited several other Master Gardeners to assist with the projects. The volunteers have adopted a class and garden area.

Second-graders measure and record the growth of the plants in their journals. Parents are encouraged to keep saving box tops, as it’s a great source to fund the gardens.
