La Vernia Primary School held its annual Reading and Health Night on Oct. 15. Families in attendance enjoyed a free supper and were able to browse various booths to learn reading and health tips.

Thanks to the following community members for making the evening a success: Dr. Bruen Goolsby, Dr. Wade Krause, Dr. David Fleitas, H-E-B, Guadalupe County Master Gardeners, LVISD Child Nutrition, and Hills Gym.

We would also like to thank Primary team members: Shelley Yeater, Farah Robinson, Nancy Bielefeldt, Mistelle Burg, Jessica Cervera, Mindi Scogin, Krista Saulter, Eloise Wood, Guyna Polasek, Julie McCracken, Deb Walton, Paula Watson, Georganna Roswell, Margaret Wortham, and Valerie Farris.
