CASA VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION. Provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that abused children’s best interests are represented in court. Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. Robert Louis “Bob” Hill, 79, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, in Seguin, Texas. He was born on Jan. 27, 1934, in San Antonio to Jessie and Leona Adams-Hill.

Bob was employed 46 years with M&M Metals in San Antonio. He was also a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother James Hill; and sisters Mary Hill and Dianna Hill.

Bob is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Hill of Seguin; children Martin Salinas and wife Diana, Robert Hill, Johnny Hill and wife Ruth, Crecia Hill, Nicole Cook and husband Tod; brother Harold Hill and wife Kay; sister Gloria Jean Davis; grandchildren Martin Salinas II and wife Lindsey, Maurice Salinas and wife Taryn, Jovan Hill and wife Amanda, Ashlynn Long and husband Thomas, and Cailee Hill; and great-grandchildren Victoria Salinas, Abigail Salinas, Chase Salinas, Luke Salinas, Kody Salinas, Kyleigh Salinas, Joshua Salinas, Chloe Salinas, Hannah Salinas, and Claire Long.

Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 1, from 3-7 p.m. in the Alamo Christian Church in San Antonio.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the church.

Interment was held on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Vanderpool Cemetery in Vanderpool.
