ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

1921-2013

Rosalie Manka Dziuk passed to a new life in San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at the age of 92. She was born on May 4, 1921, in Panna Maria to Joe Francis and Lucy Ploch Manka.

Rosalie was a resident of San Antonio the past eight years since moving from the Falls City area. Rosalie was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Fashing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Joseph Dziuk, in June 2002; her parents; one sister, Alice Merritt and husband Joshua; brother Joe F. Manka Jr. and wife Richer; and one infant son, Adam.

Rosalie is survived by daughters Evelyn Warnken and husband Harvey and Jane Olenick and husband Benjamin; sons Larry Dziuk and wife Kay and Jerome Dziuk and wife Shirley; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters Grace Cooke and husband Emmitt and Lorraine Ponish and husband Howard; numerous sisters and brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 4, at 9 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City.

A funeral Mass was held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in the Falls City Cemetery in Falls City.
