The Guadalupe County Native Plant Society will present “The Natural History of Texas Milkweeds” on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church on F.M. 465 in Marion.

Milkweeds are essential food sources for butterflies and their larvae. Craig Hensley, park interpreter at the Guadalupe River State Park, will give a presentation on these vital resources, and how to support them. A plant/seed exchange and greeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome.
