Floresville Fall Fest and cook-off set for Nov. 8-9
The leaves are falling and that ol’ familiar coolness is in the air. That means it’s time for the ninth annual IBCA Cook-off and Floresville Fall Fest to be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8-9, at the Floresville Event Center at 600 S.H. 97 W.
The fun will begin on Friday with a kids cook-off at 6 p.m. Cooking will continue on Saturday with categories including meat, beans, chili, and Dutch oven desserts. Prizes will include trophies, Yeti coolers, and jackpots. Cooker spots are still available and judges are needed for all categories.
For more information, call Melissa Popham at 210-844-6739 or Sherry Pollok at 830-391-2152.
