FLORESVILLE -- The Floresville Tiger football team has won another district title, and will travel to Cuero this Friday to face Port Lavaca Calhoun in a bi-district matchup. To send the team off right, a nighttime pep rally is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 14, from 6:20 to 7:30 p.m.
The pep rally will be held on the courthouse lawn by the big peanut. There will be a police escort for the boys to make a drive around the block. They will be allowed to have others ride in the back of the trucks and have a small parade of sorts before the pep rally.
A trailer will be set up for the boys to stand on during the pep rally, and the cheer-leaders, band, and dance team will be performing. The coaches will be introduced, along with all the varsity players.
The community is encouraged to attend the pep rally and help support the Tigers as they enter postseason play.
