Andrea Carranza-Herrera entered into heaven on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013. God came to her while she lived in Round Rock, Texas, with her loving daughter by her side. She was born on Feb. 4, 1925, to Ermidio and Paula Carranza.

Andrea was a beautiful, elegant, and kind lady, and a loving mother. Her joys in life were gardening, sewing, dancing, and listening to Tejano and country music.

She is survived by one son, Joe Morales; three daughters, Virginia Rios, Teresa Hatheway, and Sylvia Pool; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home in Floresville.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville.
