Marjorie A. Anderson, 93, of Stockdale, Texas, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, in Seguin. Marjorie was born on Jan. 29, 1920, to James H. and Nancy (Spivey) Anderson in Pandora.

She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church and a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star, both in Stockdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Woodrow W. Anderson and James H. Anderson Jr.; and her sisters, Beth Earline Anderson, Lois Donaho, and Jonnie Staggs.

Marjorie is survived by her niece, Jo Carolyn Hierholzer and husband Otto of Floresville; her nephew, Larry B. Staggs and wife Billie of Stockdale; her nieces, Judy Person and husband Jimmy of Stockdale and Jerry Penshorn and husband Jimmie of Marion; lifelong friend Berna Jordan of Stockdale; numerous great-, great-great-, and great-great-great-nieces and -nephews; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held Thursday, Nov. 7, from 9-10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Stockdale.

A funeral service was held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the church with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 202 South Seventh St., Stockdale, TX 78160.
