The Texas State Library and Archives Commission in Austin invites all to its free exhibit, “Texas Investigates: the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy and Wounding of Governor John B. Connally.” The exhibit, which observes the 50th anniversary of the event, will be on display through Feb. 14, 2014, in the lobby of the Lorenzo de Zavala Building at 1201 Brazos St. in Austin.

The centerpiece of the exhibit is the suit of clothing Gov. Connally wore that day, which indicates the positions of his injuries.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
