The award-winning “Alamo Metro Chorus” will present “Sing & Celebrate” in commemoration of its 25th anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Holy Trinity Banquet Hall at 20523 Huebner Road in San Antonio.

“Alamo Metro Chorus” chartered as a chapter of Sweet Adelines International Inc. in November 1988. Its mission is to promote four-part a capella singing in the barbershop style, a uniquely American style of singing.

“Sing & Celebrate” will feature Broadway show tunes, original barbershop music written and arranged by Master Director Mary Ann Wydra for “Alamo Metro Chorus,” and more. “The Heart of Texas Men’s Chorus” will join the ladies onstage to kick off the holiday season with several familiar Christmas songs. International quartet competitors, “Sound Wise” and “Essence,” also will participate. Young Women in Harmony International finalists, “Grace Notes,” also will be featured.
