Clarence and Denise Kolodziej of Falls City, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melissa Rose, to Jared Hunter Ray, the son of William and Kimberlea Stalker of Concan, and the late Jack T. Ray.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Rose Pawlik of San Antonio and the late Rudy Pawlik, and the late Alois and Mary Kolodziej, formerly of Falls City.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Travis and Marion Box, formerly of Carrizo Springs, and the late Temple and Isal Ray, formerly of Crystal City.

Melissa is a graduate of Poth High School and received a master’s degree in communication disorders from Texas State University.

Hunter is a graduate of Uvalde High School and received a bachelor’s degree in construction technology from Texas State University.

Melissa and Hunter plan to marry in the late fall of 2013 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde, Texas, with a reception to follow in Concan.
