1948-2013

William Sendejo Sr. passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 65 years, 3 months, and 10 days. He was born July 14, 1948, in Wilson County to Eva Nieto Estrada. He was a resident of Floresville for four years.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ignacio Estrada.

William is survived by his mother, Eva Nieto Estrada; his children, Monica Segura and William P. Sendejo Jr.; his sisters, Estella Herrera and Rosie Flores; his brothers, Eloy Gonzales, Fidel Gonzales, Rudy Orosco, Dimas Estrada Jr., and Rudy Gonzales; his grandchildren, Britanee M. Segura, Brandenn A. Segura, and Dylan Sendejo; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held Sunday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville.

A prayer service was held Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

A funeral service was held Monday at 10 a.m. in El Mesias United Methodist Church in Floresville.

Interment followed in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
