1921-2013

Rosemary J. Brigham Wright, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at 2 a.m. in the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 92 years, 9 months, and 2 days. Rosemary was born Feb. 17, 1921, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Benjamin and Emma Huser Brigham.

Rosemary graduated from North High School in Denver and was a homemaker. She married Aaron Jack Wright on Dec. 30, 1941, in Denver. Aaron, Rosemary’s beloved husband of more than 65 years, preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2006. She resided in Wilson County from 1995 to 2006 before moving to San Antonio. Rosemary loved camping and fishing in Colorado, and her family, especially her three sons, were everything to her. She was of the Methodist faith.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aaron Jack Wright; her brother, Louis Brigham; and her sister, Frieda Huber.

She is survived by her sons, Aaron Tom Wright and wife MaryAnn of Highland Park, Colo., Jack Louis Wright and wife Margaret of Aurora, Colo., and William Joe Wright and wife Jean of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Mike Wright and wife Paige and Sandy Hobbs and husband Brian, all of the Denver area, Jennifer Wright of Dallas, and Matthew Wright and wife Marilyn of San Antonio; and her great-grandchildren, Lauren Hobbs, Brittany Wright, Kathleen Wright, and Kira Hobbs.

Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 22, at 9 a.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville.

A funeral service was held on Friday at 10 a.m., officiated by Pastor Peter Aguilar.

Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery in Wilson County.

Serving as pallbearers were Sandy Hobbs, Mike Wright, Matt Wright, Jenn Wright, Marilyn Wright, and Austin Wright.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6800 Park Ten Boulevard, Suite 131-E, San Antonio, TX 78213; or to the American Diabetes Association, 1100 NE Loop 410, Suite 110, San Antonio, TX 78209.
