Shop locally for Small Business Saturday Nov. 30
Full of turkey and ready to roll on your Christmas shopping? Forget Black Friday and enjoy Small Business Saturday instead.
This Saturday, Nov. 30, don’t fight the mobs in the malls. Try Christmas shopping in the country and support your hometown small businesses.
This is the fourth annual celebration of Small Business Saturday, created to help bring consumers through the doors of small local merchants and keep communities strong. Small businesses often hire locally. They frequently support their communities by sponsoring local events, teams, or charities. Small businesses are a critical part of the state and national economy.
Whittle down your list with some Christmas shopping in the country close to home! See page 6B for map.
