“‘Modern Family’ is wonderful, and when ‘Frasier’ was on, that was great writing. I hark back to ‘All in the Family’ and ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and ‘The Bob Newhart Show’ ... how that was clever as opposed to being ‘blue’ all the time. It’s easy to get laughs from scatological humor, but that’s not clever writing. And some of the drama shows now are better than the movies, so that’s generally what I watch. I did watch ‘30 Rock,’ and I love Amy (Poehler on ‘Parks and Recreation’), because those are good shows.”
