Seniors enjoy Three Oaks dinner
Senior citizens enjoy a community dinner Nov 6, sponsored by the Three Oaks Extension Educator club.
Fall was the theme of the Three Oaks EEC Senior Citizens Dinner held in the Three Oaks Community Center on Nov. 6.
Evelyn Raabe greeted guests at the register table. To carry out the theme, tables were decorated with bright orange tablecloths, pumpkins, apples, and floral arrangements. Margie Arnold welcomed the guests and read a poem. Alene Quinney gave the blessing. Fifty-two guests were served a lunch of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, peaches, and rolls. Desserts were homemade baked cakes and pies.
After lunch, guests were entertained with several games of bingo. Janice Green was the bingo caller. Among guests attending were County Judge Marvin Quinney and Alene, Richard Jackson, Paul Pfeil, and Michelle Weir.
