The Sutherland Springs Community Association will hold its annual Community Holiday Covered Dish Dinner on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 5:30 p.m. in the community building at 411 14th St. in Sutherland Springs.

The evening will begin under the majestic oak, followed by the meal, door prizes for the adults, and a visit from Santa with gifts for children attending. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The association will provide a chicken dish and soft drinks. Attendees are asked to take a side dish, a veggie, bread, or dessert and nonperishable food items for those in need. The nonperishable food items will be given away through the Sutherland Springs Volunteer Fire Department and First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs.
