The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office will host an agriculture workshop Thursday, Dec. 12, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Wilson County Extension Office located at 1103 Fourth St. in Floresville.

Landowners, far-mers, ranchers, and interested members of the general public in Wilson County and surrounding areas are invited to attend the free event. One continuing education unit will be awarded.

The Texas/Mexico Border Coalition, a community-based organization, will open the workshop.

Among the topics to be addressed are:

•Texas Depart-ment of Agriculture laws and regulations update by Bryan Davis, Wilson County agent, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service

•How to sign up as an agriculture producer, presented by Farm Service Agency Wilson County Executive Director Stephen Svacina and Farm Loan Manager Raecene Randall

•Technical and financial assistance for agriculture producers by David Bush, rangeland management specialist with the Natural Resources Conservation Ser-vice.

•Update on current laws and regulations for this year’s hunting season in Wilson County, by David Nieto, game warden, Texas Parks & Wildlife.
