ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Lillie Mayberry, 88, of Floresville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013. She was born on Dec. 3, 1924, in Wilson County to Lukey and Maggie (Clay) Lenzy.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Matthew Mayberry; four brothers; and five sisters. She is survived by her children, Lillie Brooks and husband James of La Vernia, Matthew Mayberry Jr. of Seguin, Evelyn Wallace, Carolyn Foley and husband Willie, Allen Mayberry and wife Lucille, and Herman Mayberry and wife Katherine, all of Floresville, and Carl Mayberry and wife Jessie of San Antonio; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, Dec. 6, from 6-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Poth, with the Rev. James E. Dubose officiating.

Interment followed in the Floresville Cemetery No. 2 in Floresville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Moriah Baptist Church General Fund.
