ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Archie Glennwood Wilder went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013. Archie was born on June 14, 1929, in Beeville, Texas, to Archie and Lorena (Hutton) Wilder.

Archie graduated from Texas State University and became an attorney. He practiced law and taught law in many fields. He was also a licensed minister and preached in Fort Davis, Alpine. His favorite activities were gardening, painting, and he had love for music. Glenn will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mavis Marie Long Wilder; and son-in-law Mark James Dugi.

Archie is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Shirley Temple Wilder; children Colette McCune of Schertz, Rebecca Dugi Rogers of May, Mark Wilder of McQueeney, and LaTisha Berryhill of Comfort; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister Winifred Ruth Daniels and husband Garland; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 10-11 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel officiated by Pastor Stephen Sanders.

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
