CBC’s new Weekend College launches flexible 2014 format
Beginning in spring 2014, students will be able to enroll in Coastal Bend College’s Weekend College at all CBC locations via distance learning. Weekend College is offering the following courses during the spring 2014 semester: PSYC 2301, SPCH 1311, ENGL 2323, HIST 1302, GOVT 2305, and KINE 1238 at all sites. Additionally, Weekend College is proud to offer allied health students the BIOL 2420 course on the Beeville and Alice sites. Most Weekend College courses meet on Fridays from 6-10 p.m, and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., every-other-weekend. A course will meet four times, and then the student will have completed the course and can move onto the next one. Weekend College courses may be delivered in a combination of formats such as face-to-face, hybrid, online, and distance learning. The course instructor/professor will deliver the course from various Coastal Bend College sites so that students all have a chance for face-to-face interaction with their course instructor/professor.
Registration for Weekend College is on-going due to the flexible schedule of the courses.
For more information, visit the Student Development Office at any CBC location or contact Danny Garcia at 361-354-2570 or email@example.com.
More information about tuition, fees, and financial aid is also available online at www.coastalbend.edu/weekend.
