Bealls is spreading a little holiday cheer while giving back to the community this festive season through the sale of their holiday-themed “Bears that Care” plush bears to benefit Toys for Tots.

The plush brown and tan bears, adorned with a satin ribbon, retail for $6.98, and from now until Dec. 24, Stage Stores Inc., the parent company of Bealls, will donate $1 from the sale of each bear to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Bears are available for purchase in-stores and online.

The company will donate at least $100,000 from the holiday bear sales, and up to $10,000 from the Facebook contest.

The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.
