Grassland Oasis event
Grassland Oasis is hosting its second annual Farm Celebration event Saturday, Dec. 14, at the farm located at 685 C.R. 207 south of Floresville.
Gates open at 2:45 p.m. with hayrides starting at 3 p.m. and continuing on the half hour. Camping spaces are available. Admission is $35 per adult (age 14 years and older).
Informal courses will begin at 5:30 p.m. Each of the courses will feature a different type of meat from Grassland Oasis -- Western aged beef, Chevon goat, lamb, pastured chicken and pork, and bacon, as well as seasonal, local vegetables.
The “Lavens” of San Antonio will provide music. Beverages by Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling will be available.
