It’s Christmas time and we want to spread the good cheer. The Stockdale 4-H Club held its December meeting in the Stockdale Church of Christ fellowship hall on Dec. 10. Sheriff Joe Tackitt Jr. was present and spoke to the group about the Sheriff Santa program. In turn, club members presented the sheriff with toys, which they had donated and collected for needy children in Wilson County.

The meeting also included refreshments and a white elephant gift exchange. Thanks to everyone who helped with our annual poinsettia fundraiser. It was a great success!
