This past November, students from the Floresville Middle School Band auditioned for the South Texas Honor Band. Sixty-six students were chosen from more than 400 band students from 10 area middle schools. The following students will represent FMS in the 2013 South Texas Honor Band:

Flute: Savannah Lawrence, Lindsey Miller, Ainsley Brick, Erika Ochoa, Erica Campos, Kimberly Soto, Caylan Higgins, Samantha Myers, and Heather Muenzler

Oboe: Mackenzie Foster

Bassoon: Meosha Erving

Clarinet: Yvette Machado, Brenna Henke, Mary Lewis, Cathy Martinez, Gabby Sotello, Karissa Mandigo, Megan Alberthal, Cassandra Luevano, Amylia Ryan, and Anastasia Leal

Bass Clarinet: Meagan Seesengood, Rebecca Heifner, and Gaby Chavez

Alto Saxophone: Emanuel Pacheco, Christian Wood, Kane Numera, and Gabby Uriegas

Baritone Saxophone: Zachary Romero

Tenor Saxophone: Michael Martinez

Trumpet: Justin Sloan, Orion Ballard, Trent Walker, Ruben Uriegas, Denton Trevino, Trey Martinez, and Joshua Bell
