Clyde W. Round passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, in La Vernia, Texas, at the age of 95 years, 5 months, and 15 days. He was born on June 27, 1918, in Gentry, Mo., to Floyd and Eve Winemiller Round.

He was a former resident of Colorado Springs, Colo., and a resident of Stockdale for three years. Clyde served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II and the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was a 64-year Mason 1949-2013, Fountain Valley Lodge No. 191, Cripple Creek Lodge No. 96 past Master, Scottish Rite Pueblo Life Member, Al Kaly Shine Life Member, Colorado Springs No. 6 RAM Past High Priest, Cripple Creek No. 323 RAM Past High Priest, Zabud No. 8 Council Past Thrice Master, Pike’s Peak No. 6 KT Past Commander, Installed Sovereign Master Allied Masonic Degree, Gofannin Council No. 315 AMD, York Rite College No. 109 Southern Colorado, El Paso Actual PM Life Member, Cripple Creek Actural PM Life Member, Al Kaly PM Life Member, Pike’s Peak Nat Sojourners PCM (Life), High Twelve Club No. 513, Al Kaly Patriots Past President, Thrice III Masters Club Life Member, Past Commanders Association Life Member, Order of High Priesthood Life Member, Holy Royal Arch KT Priests Life Member, Colorado Columbine NCT, K T Eye Foundation Life Sponsor, 50-year Member OES 1950-2000, PGP Colorado OES, PGM/PGP Club, PGM/PGP Assoc. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ivy E. Hawkins Round; his parents; daughter Melody D. Hazzard; and brothers Ralph and Ashford Round.

Clyde is survived by his daughter, Mona Lee Alloway and husband Roger of Stockdale; grandchildren Windy Hazzard Sanchez, Tiffany Lee Alloway, Terri Bomer and husband John, and Leroy Alloway; and great-grandchildren Kyle Eubanks, Chloe Bomer, and Trey Bomer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
