Alan Gregory passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, in Pleasanton, Texas, at the age of 62 years, 6 months, and 29 days. He was born June 29, 1951, in Mobile, Ala., to Chester W. and Mary Kathryn Daniels Gregory. He had been a resident of Pleasanton since 1981.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester w. Gregory.

Alan is survived by his wife, Brenda Gregory of Pleasanton; his mother, Mary Kathryn Gregory; his children, Kristin Gregory York and Troy Alan Gregory; his sister, Diane Meek; grandchildren Ava York and Derek York; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 9, at 5 p.m. in St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Pleasanton, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Stefan Wiera officiating.

Interment followed in St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery in Pleasanton.

Serving as pallbearers were Eric Mayfield, Clayton Kalisek, Greg Kalisek, Gary Gregory, Joey Kalisek, Coale Kalisek, Andre Kalisek, Matthew Clint, Travis Clint, Chad Kalisek, and Kendall Kalisek.
