Offer condolences


Kathryn Louise Freeman, 67, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013. She was born on July 25, 1946, in San Francisco, Calif., to Basil and Rebecca (Yenter) Cate.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; and husband William Wayne Freeman.

She is survived by her children, William Freeman Jr. and fiancée Michele, David Freeman and wife Jill, and Andrew Freeman; grandchildren Aimi, Shelbi, Kayla, Jace, Jenjer, Kendall, Ryan, and Allison; great-grandchild Klarisa; sister Pat Gottsch and family; brother Richard Cate and family; sister-in-law Ann Makris and family; brother-in-law Kenneth Freeman and family; family friends Tess, David, and Destiny; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 22, from 2-6 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Robert Palan to officiate.

Interment will follow in the Concrete Cemetery in La Vernia.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
