Donate to community center
The Atascosa Health Center, an area health-care provider for 37 years, is asking the community to help achieve its mission of providing quality health care for needy families.
Local media designer Rebekah Allen created a Christmas card donation request with health-center data, including many unknown facts. With a staff of 100, including 13 medical providers and three dentists, the health center served almost 12,000 patients in 2012. The majority of the health center’s patients are low income. Atascosa Health Center operates four rural health centers located in Atascosa, Wilson, Karnes, and Live Oak counties. Residents of McMullen County are served at the Live Oak (Three Rivers) or Pleasanton health centers.
All donors will be featured on the Atascosa Health Center website, www.atascosahealthcenter.org. If you did not receive an Atascosa Health Center Christmas card donation request and would like to make a tax-deductible donation, send it to AHC, Inc., Maria Garcia, CFO, 310 W. Oaklawn, Pleasanton, TX 78064.
