The Bexar County Junior Livestock Show is set for Tuesday, Dec. 31, through Friday, Jan. 3, at the San Antonio Livestock Show grounds in San Antonio. The Auction of Champions will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 9 a.m. at Cowboys Dance Hall.

All animals, except for horses, poultry, and rabbits, will be weighed and sifted on Tuesday.

Kicking off the judging events on Wednesday will be the breeding swine show and breeding heifer show at 9 a.m. The poultry show is set for 10 a.m., followed by the market swine show at noon. The afternoon’s events include the market lamb and steer shows.

The market swine show will continue on Thursday at 8 a.m., with the Boer goat show set for 9 a.m., followed by the market goat show. The judging of ag mechanics projects will begin at 8 a.m.

Friday’s events include the horse show at 9 a.m., with the livestock judging contest to begin at 3 p.m.
