Just when you think you’ve seen the best of what the Floresville Opry can bring, they do one better! So be sure to save the date to witness a special tribute to Ray Price at the Opry on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 6-9:30 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center at 600 S.H. 97 W. in Floresville. Doors will open at 5 p.m.

Come enjoy and witness the sounds of good ol’ classic country music by house band “Playin’ To Win” with members Pat Fox, Kenny Penny, Diane Farley, Randy Reinhard, Rodney Smith, Eleanor Shore, and Frutoso Balderas. Featured headliners will include country music star Billy Mata, Priscilla Speed, Denny Ivey, and Louis Hohmann, along with Conrad Gonzales and Jim Helmke.

In addition to live music and dancing, patrons will also have an opportunity to win door prizes and peruse a silent auction. A delicious dinner will be served and catered by Floresville’s own Mata’s Café for $7 per plate. Concessions are also available.

General admission is $10 per person or $120 for a reserved table that seats 10. General admission tickets are available at the Wilson County News and the Sam Fore Jr. Wilson County Public Library. All proceeds benefit the community through the Wilson County Historical Society.

For more information or to reserve a table, call Viola Henke at 830-393-6512.
