ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Falls City junior William Stolle (55) puts the ball off the glass for 2 points against Yorktown last Friday. The Beavers trailed at halftime 22-20, but rallied in the third quarter with great play from their bench players to take a 36-30 lead going into the fourth quarter. The defense then held the Wildcats to just 9 points, while the Beaver offense poured in 20 points to defeat Yorktown 56-39 in the district opener. Dean Gaskamp led the team with 11 points, followed by Conner Jendrusch and Gabe Jimerson with 8 points each. Eric Wiatrek pulled down 12 rebounds, and Conner Jendrusch snatched 10. Gaskamp led the team with three steals and Wiatrek tallied three assists.
