Wilson County livestock show changes auction venue

The premium sale for the 2014 Wilson County Junior Livestock Show has a new home this year! The auction, set for Saturday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m., will be held at the Floresville Event Center located at 600 S.H. 97 W. The auction includes the baked food show champions.

As in the past, the hospitality booth will be available and will open Saturday at 12:30 p.m. for buyers with a pledge of $500 or more. Sales sheets will be available for review at that time.

The Wilson County Junior Livestock Show kicks off with the Horse Show on Saturday, Jan. 18, in the Wilson County Show Barn, located east of Floresville on S.H. 97 E. The show continues on Wednesday, Jan. 22, and continues at the show barn until Friday, Jan. 24.
