ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Pablo “Mino” Reyes Jr., a lifelong resident of Poth, Texas, passed away peacefully in the Regency Manor Nursing Home in Floresville at 4:17 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at the age of 92 years, 9 months, and 24 days. Pablo was born March 13, 1921, in Saspamco, the son of Magdalena Morales and Pablo Reyes Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mino is survived by his beloved wife, Lydia Ramirez Reyes; his daughter, Dina Martinez and husband Louis of La Porte; his son, Rene Reyes and wife Alice of La Porte; his grandchildren, Rachel Reyes, Belinda Reyes, Crystal Rapstine, Cynthia Martinez, Mario Hernandez, Norman Gomez, and Adam Hernandez; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, Jan. 10, at 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Poth.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the church, officiated by the Rev. James Collins Jr.

Interment followed in the Emmanuel Assembly of God Cemetery in Poth.

Serving as pallbearers were Mario Hernandez, Larry Gomez, Vince Stock, Jose Acosta, Felipe Lara, and Felipe Sauceda.
