1927-2014

Frances R. Grams, 86, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014. She was born Dec. 10, 1927.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Dave Grams; a sister, Dorothy Stanchos; and a brother, Melvin Macha.

Frances is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon Grams; her sons, Douglas Grams and wife Claudia and David Grams and wife Wendy; a sister, Margaret Maxcey; a brother, Richard Macha and wife Rita; her grandchildren, Thomas, Austin, Lacey, Chuck, and Robyn; great-grandchildren Bryttney, Skylar, and Macie; great-great-grandson Blase; brother-in-law Marvin Stanchos; sister-in-law Karen Macha; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, said her family.

Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 16, from 6-9 p.m. in the St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Antonio, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was held Friday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery in Martinez.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or St. Benedict Catholic Church, 4535 Lord Road, San Antonio, TX 78220.
