1944-2014

Sidney F. Weber, 69, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014, in La Vernia after losing his battle with cancer. He was born on March 30, 1944, in Guadalupe County to Edgar Ernst and Lydia Bertha (Clarner) Weber. Sidney was preceded in death by his parents; brother Lee Jay Weber; and nephew Christopher Friederick. He is survived by his children, Kelly Diane Johnson and husband John of Austin, Dr. Franklin Weber and wife Nessie of Canyon, and Dr. Thomas C. Weber of New Braunfels; grandchildren Benjamin Johnson, Avery Johnson, and Chase Johnson; sister Joyce Friederick and husband Freddy of New Berlin; nephew Cory Friederick and wife Tracy of La Vernia; numerous cousins and other relatives; and many loving friends. Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.  . . .
