1947-2014

Harry Edward Hassmann was born Aug. 26, 1947, to Edward Hassmann and Nancy Julin. He passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the age of 66 years.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Frances (Tewes) Hassmann of Stockdale; sons Billy Hassmann and Alan Hassmann, both of Stockdale; granddaughter LeeAnn Michelle Hassmann; sister-in-law Deborah Windecker and husband, the Rev. Ron Windecker; nephews Kevin Windecker and wife Hillery and Kody Windecker; many other loving relatives; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale, Texas.

A graveside service was held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the Concrete Cemetery in La Vernia, officiated by the Rev. John Schwartz and the Rev. Janet Fluth.

Memorial donations may be made to the Stockdale Ex-Students Association, care of Roxanne Seidel Moczygemba, P.O. Box 7, Stockdale, TX 78160; St. John’s Lutheran Church in Denhawken, P.O. Box 364, Stockdale, TX 78160; or to the Christ United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 247, Stockdale, TX 78160.
