East Central plans annual gala

EAST CENTRAL -- The East Central School Foundation’s 12th annual gala fund-raiser, featuring a dinner, silent and live auctions, and a dance, is set for Saturday, April 5, from 6-11 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center, located at 600 S.H. 97 W. in Floresville. The “Hooray for Hollywood” themed event is currently accepting underwriting and table sponsors. Come dressed for the Red Carpet, or as your favorite actor. Business casual is also appropriate.

Underwriting sponsorships include: Walk of Fame Sponsor -- $10,000; Universal Studios Sponsor -- $5,000; Rodeo Drive Sponsor -- $1,000. Table sponsors are as follows: Academy Award Table --$2,400; Golden Globe Award Table -- $1,200; Emmy Award Table -- $650; People’s Choice Award Table -- $350. Red Carpet individual tickets are $35 each.

All proceeds from this event will be used to further the foundation’s efforts to fund scholarships, and to provide grants for teachers, learning supplies and equipment, social services, and incentive projects.
