Don’t miss out on FAFSA nights being held on Thursday, Jan. 30, from 3-7 p.m. in Floresville High School at 1813 Tiger Lane, and on Friday, Jan. 31, from 1-4 p.m. in Poth High School at 506 N. Dixon. The Mobile Go Center will be available at both events. Although both sessions are geared for graduating seniors and their parents, the Floresville session will be open to the public.

These sessions will give students and parents an opportunity to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with assistance from experienced financial aid counselors and college staff. Interested attendees should take the following documentation which pertains to the student, spouse, and/or parents:

•Federal Student Aid PIN (to obtain your pin go to http://www.pin.ed.gov)

•2013 federal tax returns and W-2 forms

•Driver license or state ID

•Social Security card

•Spouse or parent’s Social Security numbers and dates of birth

A listing of any other types of untaxed income or benefits received in 2013 may include:

•A document from you and/or your parent’s caseworker with the total amount of TANF received for 2013

•Supplemental Social Security Disability received in 2013

•The total amount of child support paid and/or received in 2013

•The total amount of Federal Work Study received in 2013.

These financial aid sessions are for parents and students of all income levels.
