ARCA Racing Series team and driver Win-Tron Racing and Mason Mingus are making a full-time move to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for 2014, according to an announcement from Win-Tron Racing.

"Obviously, I'm very excited an anxious to start the season," Mingus said. "Having the opportunity to run full-time in the NCWTS is an unbelievable opportunity for me and is one step closer to accomplishing the ultimate goal of racing in the Sprint Cup Series."

Mingus will drive the No. 35 truck for Win-Tron. With the move to trucks, the team will switch from Chevrolet to Toyota. Mark Rette, who worked with Mingus on his 2013 ARCA efforts, will be crew chief.

"I expect to be able to compete for Rookie of the Year and run up front every week," Mingus said. "I have a lot of confidence in my team. The group of guys that Win-Tron Racing has put together for me has given me top-notch equipment in ARCA over the past year, and I know we will have that same caliber in the Truck Series.

Mingus' ARCA season of 2013 was his first full-time year of stock car competition. In 21 ARCA races, he scored five top-fives and 18 top-10 finishes en route to a second-place finish in the championship points standings. Mingus and Win-Tron also entered three Camping World Truck Series races near the end of 2013. His best finish was 22nd at Phoenix International Raceway.

"Mason did an excellent job in the ARCA Racing Series last year and showed even more potential in the Truck Series," team co-owner Nate Thiesse said. "We've put a lot of attention towards our truck program and feel that we have the tools to have a strong presence and race for wins in 2014."
