The burn ban in Wilson County is back in effect, following a decision Jan. 27 by the Wilson County Commissioners Court.

You can call and get permission to burn during a burn ban. I've done so when we've had rain, and the wind was down.

try asking a sheriffs deputy, they don't even know if the burn ban is in effect.. even worse try calling dispatch and getting an officer out to do something about it ...

Edwin Baker of the Wilson County Health and Public Safety Office said that due to today's windy conditions, no agricultural burns are being authorized today. For further information, call 830-393-8503.
