Found: Pretty white medium female dog, Jan. 11, in Homeplace Subdivision, Adkins, has black spot over eye, very friendly and sweet, misses owner, must find home, cannot keep. 210-649-1886.

Jack White of Floresville is the winner of the Jan. 22 Plant ID contest, correctly identifying paperwhites from the photo. He wins a gift certificate from Schulz Nursery in Marion.

The Plant ID Contest is being conducted as a lead-in to the Wilson County Gardening Day on Saturday, March 1, at the Floresville Independent School District Alternative Education Center. Look for more on this event in a coming issue of the Wilson County News.
