Pauline Hartl, born July 6, 1931, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at the age of 82.

She was born near Elmendorf and lived in the Floresville, Texas, area since 1971.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Eugene Hartl; and her sister, Mary Ann Balzen.

She is survived by her daughter, Gladys Katcsmorak and husband Alfred; sons Raymond Hartl and wife Lorene and Herman Hartl and wife Jan; grandchildren Jason and Russell Katcsmorak, Darrell, Timothy, and Justin Hartl, Laura Kohlleppel, Susan Pratorius, and Matthew Hartl; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Clara Miller and husband Marshall; brother Adolph Lambrecht and wife Katrina; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, Jan. 31, from 5-8 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the funeral chapel.

Interment followed in Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
