U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Aaron J. Bailey has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Bailey is the son of Linda and Mickey Bailey of Elmendorf, and grandson of Donna and James Bailey of Dalton, N.Y.

He is a 2005 graduate of Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
