A barbecue dinner benefit will be held for Jessica Ahr on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. in the St. Jerome O’ Brien Hall at 7955 Real Road in San Antonio.

Plates will include barbecued chicken and sausage with rice and beans for $8 each. Stick around to enjoy a live band from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a live auction at 12:30 p.m. The event also will include a silent auction and a bake sale.

Jessica suffers from paralysis in her left leg as a result of a back surgery she had in 2009. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of a medical device to give her the opportunity to walk again.

For more information, call Crystal Walter at 210-387-5345, Kelly Bennett at 210-410-2752, or April Moxley at 210-834-6962.
