Sacred Heart School announces its 2014 Valentine Coronation Court

Queen Lacy Hartmann
Lacy Hartmann will be the new Queen in the 2014 Sacred Heart Valentine Court. Lacy is the 3-year-old daughter of Chad and Tina Hartmann of Floresville. Her grandparents are John and Ruth Cornali of La Vernia and Allen and Joan Hartmann of Floresville.
Lacy is a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in La Vernia. She is currently in Ms. Quintanilla’s 3K class at Sacred Heart School.
Lacy’s family has a long history with Sacred Heart School. Her great-grandmother, Mary Ella Tackitt, was a member of the first class to graduate from Sacred Heart School. In addition, her big brother, Grant, and several other family members have attended Sacred Heart School, including her cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandmother.
In her free time, Lacy enjoys playing with her big brother and cousins, dancing, playing with her dolls, feeding cows with her daddy, and riding horses. During the summer, Lacy likes going to her grandma’s house and swimming.
Lacy is very thankful to all her friends and family who have helped support her school. She would like to ask everyone to continue to support her school so that her children can go to Sacred Heart one day and continue her family tradition.
King Caleb Daniel Ramirez
Caleb Daniel Ramirez is honored to be the King of the 2014 Sacred Heart Valentine Court. He was born Feb. 9, 2010, the son of Joshua Ramirez and Scarlett Lopez and the proud little brother of Faith Rae Ramirez. He is the grandson of Daniel and Bel Ramirez of Poth and David Lopez of San Antonio. Caleb is the nephew of Gina Ramirez of Poth and the godson of Curtis and Lorena Ramirez of Floresville.
This is Caleb’s first year at Sacred Heart, and is in the 3K class. He loves Ms. Quintanilla and Mrs. King and all of his friends. Caleb enjoys listening to music and singing new songs in his class. He especially enjoys playing with Play-Doh and learning in the art center.
At home Caleb enjoys spending time with his mom and dad and he also loves to play with his sister. He enjoys going to his sister’s softball games to cheer for her. Caleb loves to go to his grandparents’ house in Poth to play or just to go and spend the night. He also enjoys being outdoors and playing games on his Kindle. Caleb is also a big fan of Monster Jam trucks and John Deere tractors; he loves collecting all the different kinds of Monster Jam trucks.
Caleb would like to thank all his family and friends for all of their support and would also like to thank Sacred Heart and his teachers for the opportunity of serving as Valentine King.
Princess Danica Bravo
Danica Bravo is honored to be this year’s Sacred Heart Valentine Princess. She is the 4-year-old daughter of John and Melaney Bravo of Floresville. Danica is the granddaughter of Johnny and Mary Bravo and the late Walter and Julia Vorauer.
This is Danica’s first year at Sacred Heart and she loves her teachers, Ms. Quintanilla and Mrs. King, along with all of her classmates.
Danica enjoys going to the beach, playing with her younger brother Blake, being outside, and spending time with her grandparents.
She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her.
Prince Diego Gabriel Castor Trevino
Diego is honored to be Sacred Heart School’s Valentine Prince. Diego is the son of JG Trevino and Stephanie Castor Trevino and loving older brother of Julianna and Jocelyn. A December baby, Diego is named after Saint Juan Diego, who, on Dec. 9, 1531, was asked by the Virgin Mary to build a church at the top of Tepeyac Hill in Mexico.
Diego and his family are new to the Sacred Heart Church and School community, recently moving to this area from San Antonio. He is in Mrs. Pelech’s first-grade class, and loves his teacher and classmates. Diego is a bright and thoughtful student who enjoys math and science.
Diego is an avid hunter, fisherman, and roper just like his daddy. He got his first trophy buck a month before his fifth birthday during Thanksgiving break at his Nana and Popo Barrera’s ranch in Falfurrias. Diego enjoys hunting and cowboy adventures with his Grandpa Castor in Cotulla. He is an accomplished swimmer, having taken lessons since he was 18 months old and swimming in his Nana and Popo Salinas’ pool every summer. Every day after school, you are sure to find Diego outside working with his bird dog, Luke, and playing fetch with his best fur buddy, Roscoe.
Diego and his family are so happy to be part of the Sacred Heart Church and School community. He is also thankful for all the support he’s received from his family and friends.
Duchess Mia Faith Farias
Mia Faith Farias is happy to announce she is Sacred Heart School’s Valentine Duchess this year. Born Aug. 4, 2009, she is the daughter of Robert and Eileen Farias of Adkins and little sister to brother Derrick. She is the granddaughter of Steve Guerrero Jr. of Floresville, Alma R. Guerrero of Saspamco, and Francisco and Maria Farias of Floresville.
This is Mia’s first year at Sacred Heart School. She enjoys being in Mrs. Bernhardt’s 4K class and loves learning and playing with her friends. Mia’s hobbies are dancing, playing, and going to the movies.
She would like to thank family and friends for all the love and support given to her.
Duke Jesse Bernhardt
Jesse Bernhardt is the 4-year-old son of Richard and Barbara Bernhardt and younger brother to Payton Bernhardt. His grandparents are Robert and Barbara Harris of San Antonio and James and Katheryn Bernhardt of San Antonio.
This is Jesse’s first year at Sacred Heart School and he is currently enrolled in Mrs. Bernhardt and Mrs. King’s prekindergarten class. His older sister Payton Bernhardt also attended the prekindergarten program at Sacred Heart School in 2002. Jesse is very proud to represent Sacred Heart School as Duke of the 2014 Valentine Court. Jesse is fun-loving and loves being at school. He enjoys playing with his classmates and loves playing basketball, T-ball, and golf. He played on the 3-year-old soccer team and will be on the 4-year-old track team. He loves anything Spiderman but will enjoy any other superhero as well. When he grows up, he wants to be a Transformer.
Crown Bearer Keiden Ray Perez
Keiden is the 3-year-old son of Brandi Cruz and the grandson of Roy and Delores Cruz of Poth.
Keiden attends Sacred Heart Catholic School and Church and is in Ms. Quintanilla’s 3K class.
Keiden loves helping others, the outdoors, fixing things with his tools, playing with his friends, and learning new things every day.
Keiden is very honored to be a part of the Valentine Coronation Court for 2014.
Scepter Bearer Jessica Martinez
Jessica is 5 years old and is in Miss Chavez’s kindergarten class. She has attended Sacred Heart School since 4K. She loves school and does well academically.
Jessica is involved in dance, takes two classes at Action Cheer in Poth, and just recently decided she wants to play soccer. She is also in Girl Scout Troop 361 as a Daisy.
A lover of animals, Jessica has a dog named Mason and a cat named Figaro that she is responsible for. Golf is something she enjoys with her daddy and has her own lefthanded set of clubs. Jessica is a very loving young lady and loves to give hugs.
