Margaret was an active member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church in San Antonio from 1950 to 1970 and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Somerset from 1970 to present.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; sons Jerry and Clifton; her parents; and stepmother Meta Kolodzey.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Canon; grandchildren Amy (Canon) Malventano and husband Allyn, Kimberly (Luedecke) Morrow and husband James, Michelle Luedecke, and Jeffrey Luedecke; great-grandson Tatum Morrow; brother Wilbert Kolodziej; sisters Kay Frances Eldridge and Lynette Jarzombek; brother-in-law Elory Luedecke; and sister-in-law Dorothy Mott.

Visitation was held on Friday, Feb. 7, from 5-9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A funeral Mass was held Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Somerset.
