Charity BBQ Cook-off

A Charity BBQ Cook-off will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, from 2-6 p.m. at the Sutherland Springs Community Building in Sutherland Springs. All proceeds will assist a needy family which needs help with medical expenses for their young child. 87 Ice House is sponsoring the event.

Entry fee for the cook-off is $25. A $75 gas card to the 87 Ice House will be awarded to the champion team.

Other events include the sale of barbecue plates at $7 per plate. Music will be provided by DJ Mike Gonzales. A silent auction and activities for the children will also be held.
