The Floresville High School Air Force Junior ROTC Rocketry Team won the grand championship during a rocket meet hosted by Tivy High School in Kerrville on Jan. 18.

The cadets, commanded by Cadet Cody Delarm, won a total of seven trophies, placing in six of the seven competition categories. It was the first time an FHS Air Force Junior ROTC rocket team has won the overall grand championship trophy. Teams from across the region, including Bowie High School from Austin, attended the competition.
